A Memorial Message for Michael's 29th Birthday 8-13-07  / Dianna Jacobs (friend of Bre )
Bre, thank you for your email this morning reminding me of
Michael's 29th birthday, those birthdays do come around,
seems so quickly and they hurt so much as our child
is not here with us.

I have emailed many friends, hopefully you will know that,
even though Michael, you and your precious family are not
known by those that lite a candle for Michael, it comes from their heart to a grieving mother and family.

I remember how we connected all the dates the first time you
emailed me with permission to add Michael's website to our
Bereavement Group, what I was doing, 2 weeks before the loss
of your precious son, our birthdays, the same, the beautiful
graphic portrait you gave to me as a gift, those white angel
wings.  You made MY KANDA, ANGELIC.  Also our sons were
both born in August, one year and 10 days apart, the 13th,
the day of the month we lost our precious Kanda, We surely
connected all the dates, didn't we??? Your Michael's birthday
are on the day of 13th.

I know this is a tough day for you, but please also know others
are thinking of you and your family today, when you see many
candles lit and do not recognize the names, most are very
caring people that I am proud to call my dear friends and
some also coworkers who also are very dear to me, some 
from our YANA BEREAVEMENT GROUP.

I am so sorry for your loss. Sending birthday wishes to Michael. I also lost a son named Michael. In 11/27/2002. Michael was killed by a girl that ran a red light. He was 39. So i know my Michael and your Michael are having your angel a party today. May your day be peaceful and full of loving memoriers of your son. Love and prayers to you.

I found your Memorial site for your precious son through
the Memorial in Heavens Gates, seems I am always
searching Memorial Websites, I do believe I want to
connect to those parents who, too, know the pain of losing
a child.  

I am so sorry for the loss of your son (only) around two
months before we lost our daughter, Kanda.  I can't
believe I have lived on without her for almost 3 years
because she was not only my daughter, but my best friend,
it seems there will never be any closure as our children
should not precede us in death.

I am also so very sorry that your grandchildren lost their
daddy, my daughter was divorced had no children. My
son, Jerrin was born Aug 23, 1977, so our sons were almost
a year apart in age, strange thing about dates, always a
connection somewhere, I guess.

It's so hard to loose a child . . . even a grown child with their own children.
You miss your child and you miss watching him with his children.  Leaves a vacancy of pain.  My son was killed in 2003.  He was 24 and left a pregnant wife and two small children.  It seems like this happens way too often since we live in the land of the free.  My heart breaks with you.   I will keep you all in my prayers.  God is with us.  He loves us - just like he loves our sons.
